Mini race-car
Strange three-wheeled model with the outboard engine at the front. Used by amateur riders in small local events, it did not leave its intrepid drivers in a bad position.
Morgan production was so successful that the London department store Harrods decided to display one of its models in the window, an unprecedented move that turned the space into the brand’s first dealership.
The Morgan’s apparent simplicity was deceptive, as its powerful engines and lightweight structures would manage, before the First World War, to break up to 10 records. Later, the great sporting triumph would come when the Plus 4 Super Sports won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
