Toulouse-Lautrec style
The company was founded from a partnership between an aristocrat, the Count of Dion, and the engineer Georges Bouton. This model was known as ‘the popular’ and was a sales success. Its design was influenced by the style of the Moulin Rouge and Toulouse-Lautrec with paintings typical of the Belle Époque.
The company based its success on bringing different and innovative models to the market. Its acclaimed tricycle was a major player in the democratisation of combustion vehicles, as its performance and price were much more affordable than those of conventional four-wheeled vehicles.
Also noteworthy is its Vis a Vis model, the predecessor of our model, where the seats were facing each other and passengers could converse face to face.
