The First World War
The First World War, which took place between 1914 and 1918, claimed 10 million victims. This vehicle is exhibited as it was found after the bombing. Bullet holes can still be seen in the back seats.
Belgium was the first country to use armoured vehicles during World War I to fight the Germans. These cars were equipped with rifles and light machine guns, and the armour became increasingly sophisticated over the years.
