One of the most expensive pre-World War II cars. It was unveiled at the 1936 Paris Motor Show. This car exemplified the technical progress and elegance of the marque, which is why it was quickly adopted by the Nazi rulers. A total of 419 examples were built.
Like the 500K, it was designed by the young engineer Friedrich Geiger. The fact that so few were produced means that the surviving models are highly sought after. No two models are alike, as they were made to order according to the customer’s tastes.
The British magazine The Motor carried out speed tests and achieved 170 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 97 km/h in 15.5 seconds, which was quite a merit because it is a very heavy car, weighing around 2.5 tonnes.
This exclusive vehicle is a symbol of quality, both on the outside and inside, where materials such as fine woods, mother-of-pearl, leather and stainless steel were used.
