It is named after the Col du Galibier pass in the Dauphiné Alps. Ettore Bugatti began manufacturing cars at the factory in Molsheim, France. The activity became a non-stop production of works of art. Our model, the ‘57 Galibier’, is in the line of the best Bugattis of the 1930s.
It was the four-door sports saloon designed, produced and manufactured entirely, body and chassis, by Carrosserie Bugatti. It was presented at the 1933 Paris Motor Show, and approximately 630 examples were built between 1934 and 1939.
From this point on, the marque specialised in more luxurious and spacious interiors, and this, coupled with its impeccable road holding, made it the first choice for wealthy drivers.
