To be right before time
This model was one of the cheapest, lightest and most efficient electric cars of its time. It had 4 speeds, a range of about 80 km and reached a speed of 24 km/h. As it did not have a steering wheel, it operated with levers as a rudder. Between 1915 and 1923, 5,000 units were produced. Today, this model is one of only four vehicles registered in the world.
The early 1900s were a golden age for electric cars. In fact, at that time, New York’s taxi fleet was all-electric. Aware of this, Milburn began mass production and, in 1920, the brand introduced a new taxi model.
It also produced a range of customisable electric trucks, giving buyers the option of choosing cab and box styles from a wide range.
