From hunting car to family car
Following World War II, Europe was experiencing a steel shortage, which resulted in a significant lack of new vehicles. After the war, the first car to leave the Crewe factory was the successful Bentley Mark VI, the model developed from the Mark V, including components and engineering revisions to its predecessor.
Although our Bentleys are luxury and touring cars, motoring and speed have been linked to the marque since its inception. Just two years after the first prototype was unveiled to the world, Bentley cars were competing in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans.
