The German sports car of the 30’s
The most charismatic car of the pre-war period. BMW’s high performance and endurance made it dominate the European races at Le Mans and the Mille Miglia on two occasions, in 1938 and 1940.
From 1938 onwards, the BMW 327 had the option of a different engine. This was an engine that did not come from a comfortable touring car, but from a real racing car. This was the 328, whose M328 engine was available for the coupé, delivering 80 hp at 5,000 rpm thanks to its innovative hemispherical combustion chambers.
