Car for lounging
Belonging to the prestigious Minerva family of cars, it is the brand’s smallest model. Hence its name ‘Minervette’. This car was used by King Charles I of Portugal during his journey to the town of Vidago. It was found on the same spot six decades later.
The origins of Minerva were similar to those of other brands that have survived to the present day. They were mobility companies that began by manufacturing and marketing bicycles, then motorbikes and finally automobiles. Mass production began in 1904, the year our model was launched. The brand was sold in Great Britain to Charles Royce, the future founder of Rolls-Royce.
