Torpedo Barcelona Tourer
Hispano Suiza is a Spanish luxury car and racing car company. During World War I, it produced 50,000 aircraft engines. It was founded in Barcelona by Damià Mateu, Francisco Seix and the Swiss engineer Marc Birkigt.
Its mascot is a stork, presented in Paris in 1919, in honour of a French aviation squadron equipped with Hispano-Suiza engines. This brand, founded in 1904, has become a benchmark in the global motor industry, creating exclusive, luxurious, reliable and technologically advanced vehicles.
For this reason, its cars have been acquired by important personalities such as Albert Einstein, Alfonso XIII, Coco Chanel or the painter Pablo Picasso.
This artist from Malaga had a model very similar to this Hispano Suiza for more than 20 years. With it he made long journeys, transported canvases and sculptures and went for walks in search of inspiration or moments of relaxation, his loyalty to the brand was considerable. When his old Hispano Suiza H6B stopped working, he bought a 1938 Model K6.
