Ambassador
When Charles W. Nash founded his company in 1917, he was the president of General Motors. His slogan was ‘give the customer more than he paid for’. With this goal in mind, he survived the Great Depression, largely thanks to the quality of our ‘The Ambassador’ model.
Although the Nash brand was taken over by the American Motors Company, some of its vehicles retained the same name. Our Ambassador, for example, remained the same name until 1974.
Nash will always be recognised as a pioneer in many aspects of the motoring world. It was the first manufacturer to install a heating and air conditioning system, and also to include seat belts as an option, among other things.
