Identical to the car designed and driven by the legendary John Lennon. This psychedelic vehicle best represented the hippie philosophy of the 1960s. It was used by The Beatles at the height of their popularity and later Lennon lent it to stars such as the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. 374 units were produced from 1968 to 1990.
There are 374 examples of this model, two of which belong to the British Royal fleet. There is a more conventional model and another one personalised for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 25th anniversary on the throne, with a very different appearance to the original due to its high roof.
